With over 10 years of industry experience, James Prola is a highly motivated, goal oriented creative supervisor. He is a critical thinker, with strong problem solving skills and extensive project management experience. James has explored his passion for storytelling through numerous disciplines such as cinematography, motion graphics, video editing, web design, water photography, time-lapse imagery and 3D stereoscopic imagery.
After studying at Parsons School of Design, Prola earned a Bachelors of Arts from Brooks Institute in Film Production. Shortly after graduation he helped launch the award-winning commercial film studio Venture Visuals, where he worked as a post-production manager for major brands including Jetboil, Carl’s Jr. and Budweiser.
Over the past five years James played a key role in creative management within the visual effects industry as stereographer, at Legend3D. As a highly adaptable, proactive leader he worked on the 3D conversion of over eleven feature films and nine commercial motion pictures. His innovative contributions to pipeline and workflow development were foundational in the growth of Legend3D, which has become one of the premier 3D conversion studios in the industry. He is a author of an essential patent and has helped the studio achieve several prestigious awards such as the 2012 Gold Stevie Award, the 2013 3D Technology Award, and the 2013 Silver Telly Award.
